About me

My name is Małgorzata Olszak and I am a Professor of Finance at Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw.

• My research interests include: Banking, Financial Intermediation, Insitutional Finance, Financial Regulation and Supervision.
• I have published over 50 papers in journals covering inter alia: Journal of Financial Services Research, European Journal of Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money.
• I have been in charge of three research projects of National Science Centre (Poland).
• I am Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Banking and Financial Economics.
• I have been Vice-President of Scientific Council for Economics and Finance at University of Warsaw, Vice-President of Didactic Board at Faculty of Management and a Director for Studies in Financial Management and Accounting.
